Bacolor & San Fernando, Pampanga | July 1, 2025

Every great journey begins with a single step — and for Rotary District 3790, the new Rotary year began with one united act of compassion that rippled across Pampanga.
On July 1, 2025, Cluster 4A Rotary Clubs kicked off the year with a powerful, two-part community initiative that embodied this year’s Rotary theme: #UniteForGood. It wasn’t just about programs. It was about people. Purpose. And the promise to serve better than ever before.
🍽️ Feeding Dreams in Bacolor
In the quiet corners of Maliwalu Elementary School in Bacolor, laughter echoed as Rotarians, teachers, and students gathered to witness a moment of shared generosity — the official start of a 120-day feeding program and the turnover of a brand new drinking fountain.
This isn’t just about feeding children. It’s about nourishing their future — ensuring they can focus, learn, and grow with strength and dignity. Malnutrition often hides in plain sight. But for the next 120 days, these children won’t have to worry about empty stomachs. Instead, they’ll sit down to meals made with care and shared by people who believe in their potential.
Rotarians from the Cluster 4A clubs didn’t just donate — they showed up. They served. They sat with students and reminded each child: “May nagmamalasakit sa inyo.”

Fighting the Final Battle Against Polio in CSFP 💉
Meanwhile, at the SM Pampanga Events Center in the City of San Fernando, another crucial mission was underway. With Polio Plus coin cans and boxes in hand, Rotarians rallied public support to fund the fight against a disease that has long haunted children across the globe.
The scene was simple, but symbolic — a sea of yellow vests, Rotary pins, and giving hearts encouraging mallgoers to drop coins, bills, and hopes into a box that could change a life.
“Each peso, each coin — it’s a small act of hope,” said Rtn. Marco, a proud PolioPlus advocate. “We’re this close to ending polio worldwide, and District 3790 is doing its part.”
Polio is more than a Rotary program. It’s a decades-long commitment. A fight we’ve nearly won — and will never abandon.
One District, One Purpose: To Serve
What made the day special wasn’t the size of the projects, but the unity behind them. Clubs came together. Communities were engaged. Children were served. And most importantly, hope was shared.
“This is what #UniteForGood looks like,” said Rotary Club of SFP President Alvin Mendoza, “Rotarians moving with one heart, one mission — to serve and uplift, especially the next generation.”
As We Begin a New Rotary Year…
The District-Wide Kick-Off reminded everyone that Rotary is not just a title — it’s a responsibility. It’s about showing up where it matters, not just on July 1, but every day of the year.
To the children of Maliwalu, the donors at SM Pampanga, and the tireless Rotarians who made it all happen: this is just the beginning.
Happy New Rotary Year, District 3790. Let’s continue to Unite for Good — because service, when done together, becomes unstoppable.
