Rotary Club of Shin Seongnam Visits Pampanga for Clean Water Project

We were honored to welcome our beloved sister club, the Rotary Club of Shin Seongnam from RI District 3600, South Korea, as they visited the City of San Fernando, Pampanga — not just as guests, but as family in Rotary, united by a common goal: to create lasting change in communities through service.
As part of their visit, our Korean Rotarian friends joined us in personally visiting the beneficiaries of our Clean Drinking Water for Students Project, a shared initiative rooted in compassion and Rotary’s mission to serve humanity. Together, we made our way to the following schools:
- Dolores Elementary School
- Nuestra Señora Del Pilar Integrated School
- San Jose Panlumacan Integrated School
- San Fernando Elementary School
In every school, we were met with warm smiles from students, heartfelt appreciation from teachers, and a renewed hope that even the simplest of needs — clean, safe drinking water — can have a profound impact when fulfilled with sincerity and cooperation.
This project was more than just a donation of water filtration systems — it was a symbol of international friendship, showing how Rotarians from different parts of the world can unite in purpose. For many of the students, having access to clean water within school grounds means better health, better focus, and better days ahead.

It was also a time of meaningful exchange — cultures connected, languages bridged through gestures of kindness, and stories shared over laughter and purpose-driven action.
As we walked through the hallways of each school, witnessing students drink confidently from the newly installed drinking fountains, we were reminded of a simple truth:
Service knows no borders, and kindness speaks every language.

To our brothers and sisters from RC Shin Seongnam, thank you for your generosity, your presence, and your unwavering support. This partnership is a testament to Rotary’s power to unite people — not just through projects, but through purpose and friendship.
Together, we are stronger. Together, we continue to live out our motto:
Service Above Self.
